This notice explains how Steward Technologies Ltd (“Steward Technologies”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal data when you visit stewardtechnologies.com (the “Website”). It applies to this Website, not to the separate apps and services we make for customers; those may have their own privacy notices.
Who is responsible for your information?

Information we handle
Information you choose to send us
This Website does not have a contact form or user account. If you choose to contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the information you include, such as your name, contact details, company, project requirements, budget or timeline, and any files you attach. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is needed and we have agreed on a suitable way to handle it.
Simply visiting the Website or clicking an email or WhatsApp link does not send us the message you have not yet written or submitted. Your email or messaging provider will process the communication when you use its service.
Information handled to deliver and protect the Website
The Website is hosted by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. To deliver the pages and help protect the service, Firebase may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device details, the page requested, and the time and status of the request. Firebase says Hosting uses IP addresses to detect abuse and provide usage information, and retains IP data for a few months. If request logging is enabled for the hosting project, additional request details may be available in those logs.
We do not currently use this Website to run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a contact form. The Website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add these technologies later, we will update this notice and provide any choices required by applicable law.
Why we use information
We use information you send us to:
- Reply to questions and discuss potential app or software projects.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and follow-up communications you request.
- Manage and keep records of business discussions and client relationships.
- Protect our rights, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We rely on the steps you ask us to take before entering a service agreement, our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a secure Website, and legal obligations where applicable. Where a particular activity requires consent, we will ask for it and you may withdraw it.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information:
- With service providers that help us host the Website, operate email or messaging, and maintain our business, under their own terms and privacy notices.
- When you choose to use an external service, such as WhatsApp, an app store, or another linked website. That service handles your information under its own privacy terms.
- When disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect people, or protect our rights and systems.
Because our hosting and communications providers may operate internationally, information may be processed outside Nigeria. Where required, we take steps intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection for such transfers.
How long we keep information
We keep business messages for as long as needed to respond, manage a potential or existing client relationship, maintain appropriate business records, and resolve disputes. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation or legitimate record-keeping need requires us to keep it longer. Firebase Hosting’s infrastructure retention is controlled by Google; its published information says IP data is retained for a few months.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we control. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so please take care when choosing what to send over email or messaging services.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may be able to ask us to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and provide access to it.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete data, restrict processing, or object to processing.
- Provide data in a portable format where the law provides that right.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, email hello@stewardtechnologies.com and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority.
Children
This Website is for businesses, founders, and general audiences; it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data through the Website. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will assess and address the request.
Links to apps and other sites
This Website links to our apps and to third-party services. Their data practices are governed by their own notices. App-specific privacy policies are available from the app privacy policies directory.
